A San Angelo man found sleeping in a vehicle wound up getting busted. On Sunday night, an officer patrolling on East 33rd Street found a Mitsubishi Outlander illegally parked and a man inside apparently sleeping. After several attempts, 29-year-old Michael Anthony Garcia was awakened and exited the vehicle. That's when police found a small plastic bag containing a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. They also found drug paraphernalia and a prohibited weapon. Garcia was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
