Angelo State University's Multicultural Center will host a Disability Awareness Celebration next week. It's scheduled for Wednesday in the Houston Harte University Center on Rosemont Drive. Themed "Because We are EQUAL to the Task," the celebration will commemorate October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month by paying tribute to the accomplishments of people with disabilities and reaffirming ASU's commitment to ensure equal opportunity for all citizens. Activities will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the main lobby of the University Center and are open free to the public.
