A San Angelo man arrested on several charges after police locate narcotics during a late night, weekend traffic stop. On Saturday, police conducted conducted a traffic stop on a white, 2012 Toyota Corolla near the 600 block of West Avenue K for a traffic violation. Officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the driver, who initially gave them a false name, officers located 245 dollars in cash, about 12-point-seven grams of marijuana and a substance that field tested positive for approximately 35.5 grams of methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle turned up 12-hundred-15 dollas in cash. The driver was eventually identified to be 28-year-old Peter Anthony Rios, who was arrested on multiple charges.
