Street repaving

The city of San Angelo begins a street reconstruction project on Monday during which four streets will be repaved. Those streets are Main Street from the Houston Harte Expressway to 18th Street, 14th Street from Main to Chadbourne streets, Oakes Street from 14th to 11th streets, and 19th Street from U.S. Highway 87 west to the railroad tracks. The one-point-three million dollar project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month. During construction, the streets will not be closed, but traffic may be reduced to one lane.
