The repaving of four streets in San Angelo begins today.
The reconstruction project affects the following stretches of road:
Main Street from the Houston Harte Expressway to 18th Street
14th Street between Main and Chadbourne streets
Oakes Street between 14th and 11th streets
19th Street from Highway 87 west to the railroad tracks
Construction should finish by the end of the month. The streets do not close during construction, but traffic may drop to one lane with flaggers controlling the flow. Drivers may find delays throughout the project.
