Cruz not bothered by criticism from other Republicans

Ted Cruz says his fellow Senate Republicans "dive bombed" the House G-O-P's efforts to derail the Affordable Care Act through a spending bill.

On C-N-N's "State of the Union," Cruz says the Senate turned its back on the House when it voted to end the shutdown. The Tea Party-supported lawmaker says the verbal flogging he has received from fellow Senate Republicans has not fazed him at all, adding that he does not work for the party bosses in Washington.

Cruz has accused congressional G-O-P leadership of trying to put the debate over the Affordable Care Act in the rear view mirror. He also stands firm in his crusade to kill the healthcare law and refuses to rule out the possibility of forcing another government shutdown when it comes time to pass a spending bill in January.

Senate Republicans have chastised Cruz over his shutdown strategy.
