Mark your calendar for next Tuesday when the San Angelo City Council does something unusual. It will be holding an evening meeting starting at 5:30 at the McNease Convention Center on Rio Concho Drive. This is a departure from the Council’s traditional meeting time of 9 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The suggestion came from Single Member District 4 Councilman Don Vardeman, who said his constituents had requested the Council meet in the evenings when they would be more available to attend.
