The San Angelo Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect involved in a hit and run crash last Saturday, October 12th. It happened around 6:50 PM at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Sunset Drive. The suspect vehicle was described as a tan older model Chevrolet Impala driving by a white male. The vehicle ran a red light and struck a 2008 Dodge Caliber, injuring the 28-year-old female driver. The suspect vehicle left the scene headed southbound on Knickerbocker, likely with extensive front-end damage. Anyone with information is urged to contact San Angelo police or call the 24-hour tip hotline at 855-TIPS-247.
