Perry at OC Fisher

The dry O.C. Fisher Reservoir lakebed served as a backdrop for Governor Rick Perry on Wednesday as he urged voters to approve Proposition 6 on November 5th. The measure would appropriate two-billion dollars to create the State Water Implementation Fund to support local water projects. The money would come from the state's Rainy Day Fund, therefore it would not mean an increase in taxes. The governor was joined by State Senator Robert Duncan, Tom Green County Judge Mike Brown and other local leaders.
