The City of San Angelo’s Public Information Office has won six statewide awards – one first place honor and five second-places – for its programming on SATV. The awards were handed out Thursday night at the annual conference of the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors. San Angelo took top honors in the Use of Humor category for a commercial starring a swimsuit-clad Parks and Recreation Director Carl White on the opening weekend of Love Municipal Pool.
