Wildfires Get Help from the WEather

The weather should help fire crews battling wildfires, this week. The Texas Forest Service says the Deaton Cole blaze is taking a lot of resources. It’s burned 150-thousand acres and is just five percent contained. Growth potential is still high in Val Verde, where it moved north and northeast, this weekend.
On the other hand, the Wildcat fire, near Bronte, is 98 percent contained, with light smoldering, this morning.
The Scott Ranch Wildfire is one hundred percent contained, in Irion County.
