Angelo State has the number one seed in the south division in this weekend's Lone Star Conference tournament in Durant, Oklahoma. A 40-10 season got the Belles to this point. Angelo State has won the last three tournaments.
The Eldorado girls softball team is going for another area championship with a game versus Baird tonight at Wells Field at Abilen Christian. A win would advance them to the third round of the UIL softball bracket.
Not many people thought the Dallas Mavericks would be in this position after two games in LA, but the Mavs lead the Lakers in the series two games to none after a convincing win last night. The series heads back to Texas tomorrow night.
