San Angelo City Council on Garage Sales, Eskimo Hut and Bright Signage

The San Angelo City Council has voted to allow the maximum number of garage sales to three per year. Originally, they had set the max at two.
Council members approved a zoning change for land near Glen Meadows Baptist Church. It’s now a general commercial district, which allows for an Eskimo Hut to set up shop.
And, the Council was divided about a request for an electronic sign near a residential neighborhood at the intersection of Caddo and North Park Streets. The planning commission asked the council to deny a request for variance from restrictions. The Council was split, and Mayor Alvin New broke the tie, voting against the request.
