The Colts will get their final tuneup for the 2011 season Monday, May 23rd when they play a doubleheader against the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League. Tickets are just 3 bucks and it gets started at 2:30. Between games the team will host its annual season ticket holders party, where season ticket holders will be able to meet their favorite Colts players. The Colts open the season next Wednesday against the McAllen Thunder. Opening night will feature a fireworks show and the first 1000 fans get a free t-shirt.
A couple of bad pitches doomed the Rangers last night, losing in Chicago 4-3. The White Sox tied the game on a three run homer and took the lead on a wild pitch. The Rangers are at the Royals tonight. The Astros lost to the Braves last night and are in St. Louis tonight.
The Mavericks took game one of the Western Conference Finals last night behind Dirk Nowitzki's 48 points. Game two is Thursday in Dallas.
