ASU Recycles Exiting Residents' Refuse

All the students moving out of residence halls at the end of the school year at Angelo State University leave behind thousands of pounds of… stuff. This year, A-S-U’s Residential Programs Office is going through the discarded clothes and other items in a massive recycling program and sending 876 pounds of donations for Goodwill Industries and the Salvation Army. The program also helps the university reduce trash disposal expenses, which are based on weight.
