A Grass Fire Turned Smokey and Toxic, Yesterday

A grass fire caused damage to property at 47th and Armstrong Streets, yesterday afternoon. Fire officials say the danger was black, toxic smoke. The blaze began in a fenced in area with tires, scrap lumber and a fiberglass boat, about one o’clock.
