City engineer moves on

A San Angelo City Engineer has accepted an offer to become the City of Fredericksburg’s director of public works and utilities. Clinton Bailey began his career with the City of San Angelo in 1995 as a staff engineer in the former Public Works Department. Bailey was promoted to city engineer in 2004, managing the Engineering Services Division. Among his achievements are designing and managing the construction of more than 100 million dollars in capital improvements. Bailey also spearheaded the development of the City’s state- and federally mandated stormwater management plan.
