March was proclaimed American Red Cross Month at Tuesday's San Angelo City Council meeting. Mayor Alvin New issued the proclamation to Janet Karcher, executive director of the local chapter of the Red Cross, and board member Terry Hucks. Karcher is married to a San Angelo firefighter.
