Retail gas prices are continuing on a downward path and remain below levels of one year ago. Triple-A reports the market is currently pulled in two directions: a positive economic outlook based on a decline in unemployment versus an increase in oil stockpiles. The statewide average price of regular gasoline in Texas is three-55, four cents less than last week. Gas-buddy-dot-com shows the price of regular in San Angelo ranges from three-49 to three-59 a gallon.
