United Blood Services has issued an emergency critical appeal for O Negative blood type. UBS officials say they have one half day supply of O Negative blood type and the eight hospitals they service have a very limited amount. If there was an emergency, they would NOT have enough blood on hand. UBS is holding a blood drive today from 1:30 to 5 at 316th TRS for those with access to Goodfellow Air Force Base. Otherwise, you can donate at United Blood Services 2020 West Beauregard in San Angelo. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. For more info, go online to united-blood-services-dot-org.
