On Thursday afternoon, San Angelo police were called to the 44-hundred block of Sunset Drive and found four people involved in an altercation in the parking lot near the PetSmart store. One man fled and tried to hide in the store but 23-year-old Coby Pimm of Brady eventually surrendered. It turned out the altercation resulted from the victim of a vehicle burglary in the Ross Dress for Less parking lot attempting to detain suspects until police arrived. He was allegedly threatened with a weapon by Pimm who, along with two other people, were suspects in an earlier theft from the Walmart Supercenter on Sherwood Way. Pimm, 29-year-old Randy Mathews of Eden and Karla Poindexter of Brady, are all facing a number of charges.
