A hit and run accident in downtown San Angelo early Sunday morning left a woman hospitalized. San Angelo police say the driver of a pickup truck failed to stop after hitting the woman, who was crossing the street in the 100 block of South Chadbourne. Police were looking for the pickup, described as an early two-thousands model Ford with a light and dark tone color. The unidentified woman was in stable condition at Shannon Medical Center.
