A new study ranks Texas counties by health. The research by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin takes into account factors such as rates of obesity and smoking, and access to healthy foods. Tom Green County ranks 78th; elsewhere in the Concho Valley, Schleicher was 90th, Concho 103rd, Runnels 155th and Coke County came in at number 226.
