Brock defeated San Saba this morning in the Girls State Basketball tournament in Austin, 37-32. The San Saba girls led most of the game, but couldn't hold off #1 Brock at the end.
The Central High School girls soccer team beat Abilene High 2-1 in a shootout earlier this week to remain in second place in the District 3-5A standings. The Lady Cats play again tomorrow at Midland High.
The Lake View boys soccer team clinched a share of the district title as they shutout Brownwood 3-0. The Chiefs improve to 8-0 in district play with four games left in the regular season. It looks like they will be the #1 seed out of their district.
The Dallas Mavericks go for eight wins in a row tonight as they host Indiana. The Spurs still lead the division, and try for win number 51 on the season as they entertain Lebron James, Dewayne Wade, and the Miami Heat.
