Still no new head football coach for Lake View High School. The school board will have a special meeting at noon on Thursday and more should come from that.
Central baseball is tied for first place with Midland Lee, so it's a big game today. Central hosts the Rebels this afternoon Nathan Donsky Field. Both teams are 3-1 in district play.
Lake View baseball are hosting Waco High. So far the Chiefs are 0-2 in district play .
Lake View softball hosts Killeen High and so far Killeen is winless in district.
The Central softball team is home against Abilene.
In a civil suit filed Friday in Dallas, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is being sued by a New York-based company for non-payment of 246-thousand dollars worth of jewelry. Another suit has also popped up from a Texas-based jeweler, alleging Bryant hasn't paid for jewelry and personal loans that total in excess of $600,000.
