House lawmakers are moving closer to dipping into the State’s Rainy Day Fund to close a four point three billion dollar deficit in the current budget, even though Governor Rick Perry has said he doesn’t want to touch the nine point four billion dollar reserve fund. Ninety of the 150 members of the House would have to approve the measure.
