House members had a heated debate about the voter I-D bill, yesterday, but passed the Republican sponsored measure in a late night session, 101 to 48. It’s a tougher version than the one State Senators passed, requiring all Texans to show a valid photo I-D to vote. You’ll need a driver’s license or state issued I-D, military I-D or passport.
