The San Angelo Relays happened over the weekend, and the Central boys finished second in Division I. The Lake View boys finished fourth in Division II. The very quick Daniel Perez of Central won the 200 meter dash.
The Central baseball team picked up a win over Odessa Permian over the weekend.
Not such a good story for the Angelo State baseball team. They have an eight game losing streak going now after losing three to Tartleton State Friday and Saturday. The guys will be on the road this Friday and Saturday in Oklahoma, against Northeastern State.
The number one ranked Angelo State softball team had a better outcome against Tartleton State, winning two out of three. The Belles record is 27-3 now. They're playing the Lonestar Crossover tournament at home this weekend.
The Texas Rangers have the Diamondbacks this afternoon as they get ready to kick off the regular season against the Red Sox Friday. The Astros start the season on the road Friday against the Phillies.
