Tom Green County has a new Bail Bond Board, required by the state, after the county's population topped 110-thousand in the last Census. Judges, clerks, attorneys, bondsmen and the county treasurer are meeting to set the ground rules for this new regulatory panel. The new rules would make Tom Green a closed county, meaning only registered bail bondsmen would be able to work.
