Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in a crash that knocked out power early Sunday morning to as many as 10-thousand San Angelo residents. It happened in the 700 block of Knickerbocker Road. Police say 34-year-old Ruben Serna, Junior, had driven his 2005 Dodge Ram pickup into several parked U-Haul vehicles and then into a utility pole. Charges are pending against Serna, who was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
