Somebody was tossing eggs at cars and people in San Angelo on Saturday morning. An officer was interviewing one of the victims near Sherwood Way and Oxford Street when the vehicle from which the eggs were being thrown took off, committing several traffic violations and almost colliding head on with another vehicle before stopping on Arden Road. The driver, 18-year-old Hunter Holbert of San Angelo, was arrested for reckless driving. Holbert and his three passengers, all teens, were cited for criminal mischief. It turns out that the the pedestrian targets of the egg-tossing were U.S. Marines collecting donations for Toys for Tots.
