San Angelo police are investigating four vehicle burglaries that occurred Wednesday night; two in the 100 block of Stoneham and two in the 1000 block of Stonewall. Vehicles appeared to have been left unlocked, with no forced entry. Police remind you to always lock your vehicle with the windows up. Take the keys. More than 25 percent of all stolen vehicles had the keys left in the vehicle. The most effective way to prevent becoming a victim of burglary of a motor vehicle is to make sure valuables are removed or secured in the trunk. Don't just hide property under the seat, because if the item is left inside the car it might still be visible from some angle.
