Just after 2:00 p.m. Thursday, a San Angelo police officer was conducting patrol in the area of Glenna and Houston Harte when he observed a man sleeping inside a vehicle located in the Stripes Convenience Store parking lot on Glenna Street. A computer check of the license plate turned up a “Stolen Alert.” The man was identified as 40-year-old David Suddock of Sweetwater. The 1990 Chevrolet Silverado Truck was reportedly stolen from a dealership in Abilene. Suddock was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
