Last Friday morning, San Angelo police responded to a robbery call at the Family Dollar Store located at 8 West Avenue L. While officers were enroute they were told that a store clerk was robbed by a man who displayed a knife while demanding money from the clerk. The suspect was said to have fled the area on foot with an estimated 260 dollars. Thanks to information from witnesses, police were able to track down the suspect exiting the Victory Temple church on South Irving. They say 22-year-old Raul Medel, Junior, was in possession of the stolen money and was arrested.
