San Angelo police arrested two people suspected of credit card theft last Thursday. A woman at D-Rays Restaurant on South Chadbourne told officers that her card had been stolen and that a purchase had been made at the restaurant without her consent. A man and woman seen making that transaction on surveillance footage were later spotted entering the Family Dollar Store on West Avenue L. Police arrested 17-year-old Kaila Gomez, who allegedly had the stolen card, and 21-year-old Eduardo Gutierrez of San Angelo. Both are suspected in other credit card thefts.
