Jet service has returned to San Angelo for the first time since October 2008. Because American Airlines' parent company has filed for bankruptcy, jets have been pulled from other cities and are now available in San Angelo. American Eagle is replacing its turbo props with jets for the four flights daily to and from Dallas-Fort Worth, cutting flying time by some 20 minutes.
