High school basketball playoffs in full swing

In high school basketball it's a big one tonight for the Central Bobcats, who face Lubbock Coronado in Big Spring. Coronado is 17-11. Central is 30-5.

The Wall Hawks beat Eastland, 56-to-49 in a Class 2A area-round boys playoff game. This was revenge for the Hawks, who lost to Eastland each of the past two years in the playoffs. The next game for Wall is next Tuesday in the regional quarterfinals.

The Wall girls need two wins to get to the state tournement. They'll face Spearman at the regional tournament tonight at Midland College. If Wall would win, they'll play again tomorrow afternoon in the regional finals.

The Bronte Lady Longhorns are still iln the thick of it too. They're two wins away from state. They'll play #7 Strawn tonight from Moody Coliseum in Abilene. This is the Lady Longhorn's first appearance in the regional tournament in 17 years.
