Only two cowboys were able to stay on the back of their bulls last night at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo on opening night. Cody Somora of Cortez, Colorado, and Brandon Wesson of Delware, Oklahoma. The rodeo continues over the next ten days and features over 1200 of the world's best cowboys.
The Wall Lady Hawks are ranked 15th in the state polls with a 23-8 record and a perfect 10-0 mark in the district. They'll play Clyde in the playoffs tonight at 7 in Abilene.
The Angelo State Rams and Belles host Incarnate Word tomorrow. The Belles tip at 5:30 and the Rams follow at 7:30.
The 2012 Bash It Out Softball Tournament continues today. Wall started off well yesterday with wins, and Central went 1-1 on the first day. Lake View beat Junction. Action continues all day today. Lake View and Central play at 6pm, and Wall will take on Junction at 8.
