Things got slippery in the San Angelo area Sunday night thanks to slush and ice on the roadways. City police and Tom Green County sheriff's deputies say there were more than 40 wrecks over a six hour time period. That includes eight wrecks all around the same time on the bridge over Bryant Boulevard.
