You can learn the story of the Bonnie Blue Flag at the next meeting of the San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society. Guest speaker Ken Phipps will trace the history of the Bonnie Blue Flag from its origin as the flag of the Republic of West Florida to its inspiration for the first flag of the Republic of Texas. The meeting will begin at 7 PM on Tuesday, March 6th at the Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall on YMCA Drive.
