The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for West Texas, including the Concho Valley, which is in effect until 6 o'clock tonight. West winds will reach 20 to 30 miles an hour with possible gusts over 40 miles an hour and humidity will be down to just 10 to 15 percent. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
