San Angelo Police Chief Tim Vasquez wants to keep his job. Vasquez filed Monday morning for the May city election, in which he will be seeking his third term. Back in 2004, Vasquez became the first Hispanic and second youngest person ever elected to be police chief of San Angelo. He claims that the latest figures show that crime has dropped almost 40 percent since he took office.
