Employees of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department Jail Division will hold a barbeque fundraiser for one of their own. Officer Patrick McMillan lost his home and possessions in a fire last Sunday. McMillan's worked at the jail for 12 years and also works for the Carlsbad Volunteer Fire Department and, in that capacity, helped fight the fire at his own home. The barbecue fundraiser will be held in the Sheriff's Office parking lot starting at 10:30 and each plate will cost eight dollars.
