Lake wind advisory

Much of the Concho Valley is under a lake wind advisory again today. The National Weather Service at San Angelo says a strong cold front will move through the area today, producing winds of 20 to 30 miles an hour, gusting to 40 miles an hour at times. Choppy conditions on area lakes will create hazardous boating conditions. And sudden wind gusts along east west roadways such as Highway 67 and Highway 87 might create dangerous conditions for high-profile vehicles.
