Juvenile probation grant

Tom Green County is getting 154-thousand dollars to help pay for programs that prevent or intervene in at-risk behaviors by juveniles. The county's Juvenile Probation Office is one 23 offices across the state to receive the grant. Officials say it will help reduce the dropout rate, deliquency truancy and referrals to the juvenile justice system.
