If you're interested in local history, you might want to check out the Fort Concho Speaker Series 2012. Coming up on Wednesday, April 4th, local historian David McMahon will discuss the topic of the Texas State Cemetery. Admission is free and you're encouraged to bring a friend. It will take place from noon to one in the Fort Concho Commissary at 702 Burgess.
