An employee of a Corsicana church has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Police say that, last Saturday night, a 16-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted by 42-year-old Gary Welch of Corsicana. According to police, Welch works as Minister to Students at Northside Baptist Church. He was arrested Monday afternoon and jailed on bond of 150-thousand dollars.
