Credit card and debit card identity theft are on the rise in San Angelo. Police are warning residents to take steps to avoid having their numbers stolen and used to make purchases. It's recommended that you review your account history on a daily basis and let your bank know if things don't add up. If your bank wants you to file a report with police, you can do that online or by calling San Angelo police or calling Crime Stoppers at 658-HELP.
