The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a red flag warning for critical fire weather conditions for an area including the Concho Valley. The warning is in effect from noon to six PM today. A strong upper level storm system will move through the area today. Behind the system, strong winds of 25 to 35 miles an hour, wlong with very dry air, will move into the area. Conditions will be favorable for the rapid spread of wildfires. Outdoor burning of any kind is discouraged.
