Buffalo Soldier Heritage Day, an annual celebration that marks the contributions of the famed black troops of the western frontier, takes place this Sunday afternoon from two to four at Fort Concho. Guest speaker will be Captain Lakeshia Logan, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan's Operation Enduring Freedom, who is stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base. The event is free and open to the public.
